Midland and Odessa Rank In The Top 20 Lowest Unemployment Rate

The June statistics for unemployment in the nation just came out and both Midland and Odessa were ranked in the top 10.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, Midland was tied for second place while Odessa was tied for eighteenth place in the nations lowest unemployment rates.

the only place with a lower unemployment rate above Midland was Burlington, Vermont.

Texas also had four metropolitan areas in the top 30, Iowa was the only state to have more with five.

Midland was tied with Portsmouth, New Hampshire for second place in the nation's lowest unemployment rate.
