A study was just released that said Midland and Odessa has the most DUI fatalities in Texas compared to their total population.

According to NewsWest 9, the insurance company ValuePenguin conducted the study that looked at cities with 50,000 or more and calculated the number of deaths attributed to alcohol-related crashes compared to their overall population.

Midland was in first place with 5.70 deaths for every 100,000 residents, Odessa had 5.34 deaths for every 100,000 residents and landed in second place.

For populations over 500,000, Dallas came in first place with 4.62 deaths per 100,000 residents.

Houston, San Antonio, Waco, and Bryan all ended up in the top 10 as well.

ValuePenguin also looked at mid-sized (20,000-50,000) and small cities 10,000-20,000 in the Texas study too. Kyle was the most dangerous mid-sized city with Forney coming in as the most dangerous small city.
