On Monday night (May 7), A-listers flocked to New York City for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's 2018 Met Gala, merging Hollywood with high-fashion for the Costume Institute's annual extravaganza.

This year's theme, dubbed "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination," fused style with religion, and celebrities rose to the occasion accordingly: Katy Perry showed up in full-fledged angel wings, Zoe Kravitz stunned in barely-there Saint Laurent, and Rihanna donned a literal pope hat.
