Mamby on the Beach 2017: 5 Acts We Can’t Wait to See
Summer is in full swing, which means that festival season is too.
This upcoming weekend (June 24-25), Chicago’s very own Mamby on the Beach returns to the Windy City with a diverse lineup of indie, dance, alternative, EDM and hip-hop artists. If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by the incredible lineup, don't worry: we've picked five acts in particular performing at Mamby that you don’t want to miss.
Don’t forget to buy your passes to the festival — and be sure to check out the complete festival line-up below.
Chicago’s very own Saba will be joining the lineup for this year’s Mamby. The rapper, who has collaborated with artists like Chance the Rapper and Gallant, will be performing on the first day of the fest. Check him out on Saturday at 3:15 at the Park Stage.
Raury is a musician that’s unlike any other: with a unique musical blend of folk and rap, Raury truly distinguishes himself as an artist. Check him out on Saturday at 4:30 on the Beach Stage.
After their four year hiatus, the duo is making a comeback with their newest album Little Dark Age later this year. Be sure to check them out on Saturday at 8:30 when they perform on the Beach Stage.
The group of ambient rockers will be taking over the Mamby on Sunday afternoon. Check out the band when they perform on Sunday at 4:15 on the Park Stage.
It’s not really summer unless you party it up with Walk the Moon. Be sure to “shut up and dance” with the band when they perform on the second day of Mamby on Sunday at 8:30 on the Beach Stage.
