Kelly Clarkson, Camila Cabello Land 2017 Billboard Women in Music Honors
Selena Gomez is getting some well-deserved company at the music industry's peak — Billboard's 2017 Woman of the Year will find fellow honorees in Kelly Clarkson, Camila Cabello at Kehlani at the annual Billboard Women in Music awards ceremony, which honors the business' most powerful women.
Clarkson, whose Meaning of Life dropped in October, will receive the Powerhouse Award, "Havana" singer Cabello will be named the year's Breakthrough Artist and Kehlani is set to be named 2017's official Rule Breaker, according to a statement.
“We look forward to celebrating the amazing talent and power of the female artists and executives who continue to inspire and impact others through their achievements and contributions to the music industry,” said Dana Miller, Chief Marketing Officer of The Hollywood Reporter – Billboard Media Group. “Each year, our Women in Music event brings together the most trailblazing women in music and this year will be no exception.”
All three women will perform at the event.
Billboard's 2017 Women in Music — including a red carpet event — will stream via Twitter on Nov. 30 from 9 PM to midnight EST.
