Who knew Legolas was as good a speech writer as archer?

Katy Perry, who delivered an impassioned speech in support of Hillary Clinton at the 2016 Democratic National Convention on July 28, revealed that parts of her statement on the importance and power of voting were inspired by none other than her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom.

Though the pop star, who performed her uplifting hits "Rise" and "Roar" at the event, didn't mention him by name on stage, she later confirmed on Twitter that "Lando" (awww!) ultimately helped her compose some of the key takeaway moments from her speech.

As Entertainment Tonight reports, when HelloGiggles founder Sophia Rivka Rossi live-tweeted Perry's line, "It's not where you come from but what you grow into," the signed responded just hours later to give credit where it was due.

"Lando put that one in," she wrote, adding a red heart emoji (double awww!).

Sweetly, though unsurprisingly, Bloom was incredibly supportive of Perry's performance and speech.

Sitting in the audience of the Philadelphia event, the actor was spotted filming his girlfriend's appearance onstage on his phone, looking somewhat like Regina George's proud mom in Mean Girls - without the narcissistic dancing in the aisles, of course.
