Justin Timberlake is still working on his forthcoming fifth studio album, which will act as a follow-up to 2013's The 20/20 Experience -- 2 of 2. And according to a recent interview, he's working with two of pop's most prolific producers -- Max Martin and Shellback.

"I’ve known Max for years and then to include Shellback in the process…" Timberlake said, before admitting the trio have been hard at work. "We literally came from the studio tonight to come to this Q&A, and we’re going back after this. There's a ton of music that we’re making right now and I’m just so excited about it."

Martin and Shellback are best known for their work in the pop realm, but Timberlake noted in the past that his forthcoming LP has been heavily influenced by his Tennessee upbringing.

"It sounds more like where I’ve come from than any other music I’ve ever made,” he said, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s Memphis. It’s Southern American music. But I want to make it sound modern — at least that’s the idea right now.”

The former NSYNC singer most recently released the hit single "Can't Stop The Feeling," which appeared on the soundtrack for the animated movie Trolls, which Timberlake also starred in as the voice actor for the role of Branch.
