Britney Spears fans are angry at Justin Timberlake following the airing of the Framing Britney Spears documentary.

On Friday (February 5), the documentary, which details the "Toxic" singer's life and conservatorship struggles, aired on FX and Hulu. The film includes interviews with some of Spears' closest friends and co-workers, as well as past media clips.

One of the older clips included early in the documentary, which addresses the former power couple's 2002 split, is a sit-down Barbara Walters interview with Timberlake.

In 2002, Walters asked Timberlake about the reason behind his and Spears' breakup. Though he initially claimed that he promised Spears that he would never discuss the reason behind their split, when he was asked to play a song from his Justified record, he instead sand an unreleased song, "Horrible Woman."

Diane Sawyer later interviewed Spears for ABC and, instead of being respectful, asked Spears what happened between her and Timbelake in a way that implicated Spears, causing the singer to cry. “You caused him so much pain, so much suffering. What did you do?" Sawyer asked her.

Not long after, Timberlake seemingly hinted that Spears cheated on him with the release of his "Cry Me a River" music video, which featured a Spears lookalike.

Timberlake also went on a radio show and when the host asked, "Did you f--k Britney Spears, yes or no?," Timberlake enthusiastically responded, "Okay, yeah I did it!" He once again referenced their sex life in a 2009 Saturday Night Live skit, seven years after the breakup.
