Wonder Woman Is Front and Center on Empire’s Shiny New ‘Justice League’ Cover
Justice League may have had to switch directors at the last minute and been mired in costly reshoots, but, by golly, it’s coming out next month whether we’re ready for it or not. To herald its arrival, Empire magazine just released a brand-new cover featuring the whole band, minus one Kryptonian (who is, like, totally dead).
Everyone is suited up and ready to kick it on this cover (except Batman, who looks mostly worried), but it seems like Warner Bros. is extremely aware that all we really want to see is another Wonder Woman movie. Check it out:
Honestly though, if I had to pick a favorite #look it’s Aquaman, whose veritable mane of hair and green suit and truly giant forearm are a far cry from the one Justice League member who used to be the butt of so many fish jokes. Yes, his “trident” has five points. Whatever, it looks awesome, I want one.
Here’s the film’s synopsis:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash — it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, J.K. Simmons, and Amber Heard, and hits theaters November 17.
