If you like to run or jog through Comanche Trail Park in Odessa, official are warning you to beware of javalinas roaming around.

According to NewsWest 9, javalinas, both alone and in packs, have been spotted in Comanche Trail Park in Odessa.

Police are warning citizens to be on the lookout because the animals can be aggressive and can attack if they feel they are in danger.

No reports of any injuries have been reported so far, but police do say to stay away from the javalinas and contact animal control.

Javalina traps have been set up along the trails so animal control officials are telling visitors to the park to watch out for the traps and be aware of your surroundings so you do not surprise one, or a pack of javalinas.
