What does a pickle parade need? A pickle run of course!

If you want to burn off some calories before digging into the different types of pickles, you can sign up for a 5k or 1-mile run.

With free admission, you can enjoy endless vendors, pickle activities, meet the Pickle Queens, live music and so much more. Check out some of the fun on their Facebook page.

Why Is Mansfield The Pickle Capital?

Mansfield was crowned the pickle capital of the world in 2013, why?

Mildred Dalton was a local who sold groceries from her home in Mansfield. She was stuck with a bunch of pickles left over from her famous "burger spread," so she had to start selling them.

That's when the company Best Maid Pickles was born. Since then Mansfield has embraced it and has leaned into being the pickle capital.

Want to Join the Pickle Fun?

Save the date for March 22, 2025. Put on your best pickle attire and head over to Historic Downtown Mansfield for a day of fun.

I am a certified pickle enthusiast so I guess I'm putting on my "Pickle Rick" costume and heading to the pickle capital for the St Paddy's Pickle Parade and Palooza!
