Ask Texas- Am I Wrong To Call My Ex BABE In Front Of His New Girlfriend?

Buzz Question - So been together with my husband for 20 years and we recently split.  He has moved on and has a new girlfriend. We have 2 kids together and still see each other every now and then. But, there is a habit that I can't STOP doing. I still call him BABE and I do it in front of his new lady. I don't mean anything by it its just I can't call him anything else. Am I wrong for doing this?

He is no longer your babe. Yes it's hard to accept... but he has already moved on...it's time you did as well.

If the new girlfriend doesn't have a problem with it then I don't think it matters. But, yes you should try to START to stop doing it. It's time to turn the page.

Your ex husband needs to put a stop to it. Has he asked you to STOP calling him Babe?

Why do you have to call him anything? There really is no need. Do you really have to say his name? I doubt there are moments where you have to actually say his name.

I don't see a problem with it. You have 20 years with that man and you are raising his kids. You can call him anything you want and the new girl can get over it!
