The iconic Western brand Lucchese is expanding to the Permian Basin with a brand new store in Midland. The architectural design of the new store will reflect the history of the "Tall City" all while paying homage to the long-standing history of the Lucchese brand.

The new Lucchese store will be located at 2705 N Big Spring Street in Midland. It is where Midland Meet Company used to be before opening Half Acre on north 349.

Lucchese was founded here in Texas in 1883 and has been providing cowboys and cowboys products that are authentic to the American West.  Lucchese carries products of all kinds in a wide range to enhance one's lifestyle. Inside the store, you will be able to find boots, apparel, luggage, bags, belts, accessories, and more all in a wide range of colors. Customers will be able to purchase high-quality boots at various price points.

The Midland location will feature handcrafted designs from El Paso. It wouldn't be a true signature  Lucchese store if they didn't off the one-of-a-kind experience of being custom fitted for your own custom-made boots.

Lucchese is excited to be opening a store in Midland, just ask president Doung Kindy:

“It is with great pleasure that we announce our Midland store,” says Doug Kindy, Lucchese President. “From business leaders to oilmen to ranchers, we are eager to supply the thriving Permian Basin community with a selection of handmade boots and western products that will fit any aspect of life.”

The store will open next Friday, October 14th, which is a Friday but if you would like to wait and visit the store on October 15th and 16th you can be there for boots and beverages.

The official grand opening party will be on October 28th with a free performance by Texas Music artist Carson Jeffery and light bites provided by MMC Half Acre.

I remember when I first started in radio and we worked a lot with the western wear stores around here, there was this pair of purple looked like alligator skin boots that I wanted so bad but couldn't afford, even on sale. I think about that pair of boots every time I am looking at new boots. Maybe the new store will have something similar or maybe I could get a pair made just like them.
