However, there's one major thing that Texas has to deal with. We've all had them happen to us multiple times, and when it does we all groan and ignore it. What are we talking about you ask?

None other than spam calls to Texas phones.

How Many Times Did Texas Get Spam Calls Over A Four Year Period?

According to data collected by Chicksx.com over a five year period, from 2020-2024, the state really had an issue with spam calls reaching their mobile devices. The data, which came from the Federal Trade Commission Do Not Call Registry, reached a total over 16 million. So here's how the data totaled out.

In 2020, the state saw 316,628 annoying spam calls. 2021 saw an increase over 100,000, with a total of 436,602. Thankfully, the numbers went down after those two years.

2022 had 249,841 calls, while 2023 had 180,404. Finally, in 2024, the amount was 170,483. Overall, the final total for the five years was 1,353,958, or in simpler terms, 4,327 for every 100,000 residents in the state.

Hopefully, that number continues to go down!
