Data Shows That The Future For Texas Will Result In It Being Bigger Than California
There are two states that seem to be at each other's throats all the time. Texas and California. Once again, it seems the scales have changed on who has the edge over the other.
Wait, Texas And California Are Arguing Over Something Again?
These two states have always butted heads over various things. Whether it be over politics or food, there's always something that's going to be on the table for arguments. So what in the world could be the disagreement this time?
Well, it looks like population is the topic of discussion for the day. Texas is making strides, and it appears California might be looking for more people to stay there in the future according to estimations.

Is Texas Going To Get Higher In Terms Of Population Than California?
Per Realtor.com, permitted house units in Texas were very high. How high you ask? Well with 15% of national housing, the Lone Star State was placed at number one in the nation for that metric.
But how does California factor in this conversation? Well, those in California are leaving the state and coming to Texas in search of many things, which include job opportunities and more easy house buying.
Danielle Hale, Realtor.com Chief Economist, stated:
“Already-scarce housing inventory from years of under-building was flooded with cash offers, and listing prices and rents soared...Texas has responded by building more and smaller homes to meet demand, helping the market settle and housing inventory climb back to pre-pandemic levels ahead of the nationwide recovery.”
So it looks like the endless between California and Texas will continue to say the least. Especially if the projections ring true, showing Texas may get even more people in the state by 2045!
