Manganese is a mineral with unknown resources that could be found in water, groundwater, soil, rocks, and even surface water. This component is found in most foods and is vital for human nutrition which helps not only with bone strength and system functions but also with the digestive system. You’re probably thinking to yourself if this particular mineral has so many benefits why would there be a recall? Manganese can be beneficial for humans but if more than enough is consumed, it can be harmful, especially for infants.

The FDA first issued the recall as somewhat severe but the FDA conducted an update last week in which the classifications of water bottle recall are now in class 111 recall which means that an exposure or violative product will not cause any health consequences. Centers for Disease, Control, and Prevention stated that manganese is defined as a trace element and eating. A small amount is needed and safe, but access levels of the mineral may damage the brain damage if it is at high levels. No further updates have been made on the recall, so keep in mind Texas it’s too hot in the state not to grab a bottle of water and you can do that comfortably and safely.
