Shoplifter At North Texas Liquor Store Tries To Evade Arrest
A shoplifter at a North Texas liquor store demonstrated how to make a bad situation much worse.
I have no problem admitting that I’m no angel. Yes, I’ve raised plenty of hell over the years. But if you do something illegal and get caught, your best bet is to accept your punishment and get it over with.
If you happen to get caught shoplifting, you’ll probably end up with a fine and not do any real jail time. Unless, of course, you decide to evade arrest. In that case, all bets are off.
The guy in the video below was seen shoving a couple of large bottles of liquor into his pants on surveillance video. Afterward, the dude goes to the counter to buy a couple of airplane bottles of liquor.
That’s when the clerk working at the cash register stalls while the manager calls the police.
The shoplifter eventually surrenders the bottles of liquor that he had shoved in his pants and exits the store. However, the manager blocks the parking lot exit with his truck.
The police arrive a few seconds later and that’s when the shoplifter gets out of his vehicle and takes off running. For a moment, it appears that he’s going to get away until suddenly, a cop comes out of nowhere and tackles him.
