Tempers flared during a recent cornhole tournament in North Texas.

Even though I’m not the biggest fan of cornhole, I am a highly competitive person. I play to win, no matter the game I’m playing.

So, I can understand someone being passionate about cornhole especially if they’re so serious about it that they participate in league play.

And I have no use for trash-talkers. I get that they’re trying to get into competitors’ heads and cause them to play worse. But if that’s what you must resort to to win, maybe you need to step up your game instead.

With that being said, I do my best to ignore those who talk trash.

But sometimes it’s hard to keep your composure when someone keeps heckling you. While I don’t condone it, I understand why the guy in the video below set off a fight by turning around and throwing a bean bag at the guy who was laughing behind him.

To echo someone who commented on the video, people here in Texas will fight you at the drop of a hat – even during something as seemingly benign as a cornhole tournament.
