These Popular Candies Now Being Recalled In The Lone Star State

If you're in Texas and have recently bought candies from Palmer Candy, there's some important news you need to know about. The company has issued a voluntary recall for over 20 different candy products because of possible contamination with salmonella, a type of bacteria that can make people sick.

The word is out thanks to an announcement from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

What happened? Palmer Candy was alerted by the company that supplies them with liquid coatings for their candies. This supplier discovered that one of their ingredients might have gotten contaminated with salmonella. To make sure everyone stays safe, Palmer Candy decided to initiate a recall.
