Houston Man Says He Will Live at Holiday Inn Instead of Nursing Home Because It’s Cheaper

The man has done his homework and research and figured out it will be cheaper to live at a Holiday Inn instead of going to a nursing home.

Terry Robison wrote his findings in a Facebook post that already has over 89,000 shares: “With the average cost for a nursing home care costing $188.00 per day, there is a better way when we get old and too feeble. I've already checked on reservations at the Holiday Inn. For a combined long term stay discount and senior discount, it's $59.23 per night.”

Robison's Facebook profile says he is living in Spring, TX and goes on to point out the hotel has free breakfasts and sometimes has happy hours also.

He states that doing that will give him extra money where he can pay for other meals, laundry, and even tips to the staff and the best part, he says you can travel to other Holiday Inns all over the world.

So maybe he has the key to living out your golden years, especially for those of us getting close to our golden years, it is definitely worth checking in, um, I mean into.
