Historic Ector Theatre Nearing Final Curtain Call Before Remodeling Begins

The Historic Ector Theatre in downtown Odessa is nearing its final curtain call before renovations begin.

According to YourBasin.com, late June is when the final show will be played in the Ector Theatre, then renovations begin in late 2016 to remodel the structure to fit with a new convention center to be completed in two to three years.

Renovations on the Ector Theatre will also be completed at that time as well.

No plans have been released on whether the renovations will keep the classic 50's look of the theater or make it more modernized.
