H-E-B to Expand Into the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex
H-E-B has been a staple here in Midland/Odessa for many years, and soon H-E-B will be all over Texas.
According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, after expanding into Lubbock recently, now executives with H-E-B are confirming that they are expanding into the DFW Metroplex.
"Our two new stores will feature the best of H-E-B with products and services our customers have come to love and expect," said H-E-B Executive Vice President Juan-Carlos Rück in a press release. "We are committed to ensuring these stores are a meaningful addition to the Frisco and Plano communities."
There are already a few H-E-B stores close to DFW in Waxahachie, Ennis, and Burleson but none in the DFW Metroplex, except for a few Central Market stores but no flagship stores.
“This is an exciting day as we share plans to expand our presence in the DFW market with the introduction of H-E-B, our flagship banner, to our growing network of stores,” said Central Market Division President Stephen Butt. “For the past 20 years, Central Market has been committed to earning customers’ trust, and H-E-B Partners will work hard to earn the confidence of the many new shoppers we look forward to serving in the Plano and Frisco communities.”
So now when you are in the Frisco and Plano areas and need to do a little grocery shopping, you can go to a H-E-B and get all the same quality service you are used to here in Midland/Odessa.
Both of the new H-E-B stores are scheduled to open in the fall of 2022.
