Golden Corral in Odessa is doing some changes to the way they do buffet-style dining.

According to NewsWest 9, self-service style restaurants like Golden Corral are going to have to accommodate customers in a different way due to COVID-19.

Golden Corral will now have the employees serve you as opposed to customers serving themselves.

"It's so important for us to try and give them that customer service with each server at the buffet so that it doesn't get to the point where there's 20 people up there," said Dylen Herrman, Odessa Golden Corral manager.

The new standard will be for the customer to point out what they want and the servers will get it for them.

The buffet will still be unlimited so it will not matter how many times you come back up for a particular item or items.
