‘Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief’ is Shocking [VIDEO]

Early this week I was flipping through channels when I stumbled onto a recent HBO documentary entitled 'Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief,' and was shocked by what I learned.

From the blind faith in a science fiction novelist's religious beliefs to the horrid conditions in which the faithful enslaved themselves, I was glued to the screen as more unimaginable stories were revealed from former Scientologists.

I didn't catch all of it in my first sitting, but I recorded a subsequent airing so I could see the beginning. The film first aired at the Sundance Film Festival in January, and it's got the church up in arms. They created a website combatting the views in the documentary, http://www.freedommag.org/hbo/.
