The festival has been in dispute with Guadalupe County officials but even during the dispute, they are announcing the headliners for their two-day festival.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, headliners announced include Snoop Dogg, Modest Mouse, Bassnectar, Lil Wayne, and Tame Impala.

The festival has ran into some problems of late in trying to get Guadalupe County commissioners to approve them having 30,000 people in the San Marcos River to enjoy the concerts and their permit was denied in February.

Current Events LLC, the company running the festival has changed the cut off capacity of the festival to 20,000 and as of last week got the approval they were wanting from the county commissioners.

To keep up with schedules, performers, and the latest information on the festival, you can keep track of it all on their Twitter page.

The fifth annual Float Fest is slated for July 21 and 22, 2018 in San Marcos on the San Marcos River.
