Fair to Midland will be a different kind of restaurant and bar that will bring a fair atmosphere to Midland.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, Fair to Midland is located at 1115 Tradewinds Blvd. and they are putting the final touches on the restaurant and bar to get ready to open up soon.

The new concept of a restaurant, bar and entertainment facility was supposed to open in the summer of 2020 but of course, COVID-19 happened and plans had to be pushed back.

But now one of the partners of Fair to Midland, Campbell Foster, is ready to get it opened up so people can enjoy this one-of-a-kind concept.

“The concept is an open fair-themed patio, beer garden bar, which has indoor and outdoor seating areas,” said Foster. “We have two really cool indoor bar areas plus the outdoor games pavilion will have a ping pong table, live oak trees, silo slide, and a windmill. The indoor/outdoor bar is by the skee ball, basketball, and shooting gallery games.”

You will need to bring cash to play the games and the menu will be traditional fair food like burgers, fries, hotdogs, and corn dogs with brunch options planned for the weekends.

“This is a really fun interactive and experiential environment that Midlanders are going to enjoy,” said Foster. “We’ve created a dynamic environment between the windmill, silo slide, the games to the TVs, music, and the bars.”

He worked with the architects to create a place that visitors from out of town would want to have in their hometown.

“The idea here was again for customers to not think they were in Midland,” said Foster. “It provides a different type of atmosphere than the rest of the establishment. Back here, we will have cocktails and people can sit on couches by a gas fireplace.”

Fair to Midland is planning to be open from 11 am-2 am 7 days a week.
