Ector County Deputies Spend Days Off Rebuilding Porch for Odessa Woman

Ector County deputies are helping out on their days off to rebuild a porch for a West Odessa woman.

According to NewsWest 9, it all started out as a call to remove snakes from under the woman's porch and turned out to be a reconstruction of her porch.

Once they got to her house they found out that the snakes were not going to move because of the way the porch was built.

So the deputies decided to rebuild the porch and it helped that one of the deputies had experience in construction and especially building decks and porches.

The deputies worked on the porch on their two days off and got the porch done as well as eliminating the snakes from under the porch.
