ECISD Launching New Space Program Where Students Can Send an Experiment Into Space

ECISD is gearing up to let students put together an experiment to be tested at the International Space Station.

According to NewsWest 9, the PICK program with ECISD has set up the Student Spaceflight Experiment Program which gives eight schools in the district a chance to create an experiment that will be conducted at the International Space Station.

ECISD was one of 31 school districts to be selected for the program in which the schools selected will have to propose an experiment to be judged locally and eventually judged by a team in Washington, DC.

ECISD will launch the program in the upcoming spring semester.
