Drew Brees’ New Restaurant in Midland Receives Liquor License

The sports bar owned by New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees got approved for its liquor license on July 6, 2020.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux was unanimously approved by the Planning and Zoning commission for their liquor license for the restaurant currently under construction at 4605 Whitman Drive in Midland.

The restaurant will include a covered beer garden and covered porch with proposed hours of operation being from 11am-11pm Sunday-Thursday and 11am to midnight on Friday and Saturday.

No date was available at this time as to when the restaurant would open.
