Update (4/5): Sons of Anarchy star Katey Sagal has been cast as Vivian Pressman in the forthcoming three-hour Dirty Dancing TV movie, according to The Hollywood ReporterPressman is a former beauty queen who's got her sights set on young male staffers at the story's Catskills hotel.

After a strong showing at the box office in 1987, Dirty Dancing became the first film to sell one-million copies on video. 28 years later, ABC hopes audiences still want to enjoy the story from the comforts of home.

A musical remake of the romantic drama is officially in the works at ABC, according to Entertainment Weeklyand Scream Queens Chanel No. 5 Abigail Breslin will star as the story's young bleeding heart, Baby. The role was originally popularized by Jennifer Grey, who went on to put her rug-cutting skills to good use on Season 11 of Dancing With The Stars, which she won.

Where productions like NBC's recent The Wiz and 2013's The Sound of Music were live events, Dirty Dancing's remake will be prerecorded, EW notes, and probably for good reason—can you imagine getting that famous lift right on the first try? Either way, Breslin's ready to take on any two-step or tango ahead.

"So excited to finally be able to tell you I'm playing Baby! #nobodyputsbabyinthecorner," Breslin tweeted shortly after the announcement.

Dirty Dancing follows Baby and her wealthy family through a vacation to a Catskill Mountains hotel, during which the young Peace Corps hopeful befriends the resort's working-class dancer, Johnny. Then there's a ton of convoluted fighting and commentary about the ethics of abortion, but finally, everyone resolves to dance to "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life" (and how!).
