The Angry Birds Movie just got a whole lot, uh, angrier disco-ier. Demi Lovato has unveiled a preview of her cover of "I Will Survive" for the animated feature on Instagram, offering fans a fleeting taste of her version of the Gloria Gaynor classic.

Updating the iconic disco anthem with her soulful, pop-rock rasp, Lovato's rendition is a mostly faithful tribute to the sweeping original. It retains the same shimmering strings and swirling '70s synths that made Gaynor's ode to overcoming heartache a discothèque staple for the Studio 54 set. Listen below:

Of course, this isn't the first time the "Stone Cold" singer has covered an iconic artist. In 2015, she belted out Aretha Franklin's soulful smash "Ain't No Way" at a pre-VMA concert, and in February 2016 she performed Lionel Richie's 1983 hit "Hello," visibly rocking the famed artist's world with her powerful tribute. Oh, and let's not forget her rousing November 2015 cover of another song of the same name: "Hello" by Adele.

As for the rest of The Angry Birds Movie soundtrack, Lovato isn't the only contemporary music star who is set to lend her voice. The Voice coach Blake Shelton, who will voice a green cowboy pig named Earl, provides a twangy country-pop bop called "Friends." Meanwhile, punky British pop star Charli XCX — who will voice a bird named "Willow" — also offers up a track for the soundtrack, an electro-pop jam called "Explode."
