To say gas prices are up is the understatement of the year! I doubt anyone is filling up for less than 50 bucks these days, no matter what kind of car you drive. I see the gas stations with 'cheaper gas' lined up 5 and 6 cars deep. At that point one has to decide, do you jump in the line of cars, or do you pay 10 or more cents extra a gallon and just head on to the next? Which is the lesser of 2 evils? It is insane!

According to University of Houston finance professor Craig Pirrong and abc13.com,

the prices were already high because of supply chain issues and the pandemic. Ukraine has exacerbated the situation and made it worse...Just the war itself is having disruptive effects."

And affecting gas prices is exactly what it has done. Some of us are frantically searching for friends to carpool to work with. Or ready to invest in a good bicycle? How early would I have to leave to get to work on time if I rode a bike? lol I kid but social media is flooded with funny memes and Gifs about current gas prices.

What are you doing to afford the rise in prices? Are you cutting back on everyday spending to be able to fill up as often as you need to or has nothing really changed for you? I fill up no less than twice a week. My days of waiting for my gas light to come on to fill up are over! lol

Check out the comparison of prices in the 432. They are really all over the place right now. How long before we hit that $4 mark?
