A few people are spending an hour or two trying to view comet Panstarrs. Even fewer are seeing it.

What was suppose to be a bright comet as it plunged toward the sun, has turned out to be a bit of a dud as comets go. Numerous folks around West Texas head out into the evening to try to see Panstarrs on the western horizon. It’s best visible between 8:30 and 9:10pm in the evening, if you can spot it. The only way we were able so ‘see’ it was to turn the ISO up on our camera and point it in the general direction.

If you don't have a camera with a zoom lense, try the 'Star Walk' program for your smart phone to get the general area in the sky the comet is located, they try to spot it with binoculars  So, here are a few of the better shots of the almost invisible comet.
