College Student’s Homemade Telenovela for Spanish Class Is Mucho Awesome [VIDEO]

You don’t need a translator to figure out this Spanish assignment is fantastico.

Julie Bryan is a college student whose Spanish teacher told the class to shoot themselves talking or singing a song. She took it to the next level, though, by corralling a few other people (some of whom aren’t even in her class) and starring in a telenovela called ‘El Amor de Mi Amante.’

The dramatic acting, the offbeat camera angles, the cheesy music --it’s definitely bueno stuff. And that doesn’t even take into account the shameless Taco Bell and Twist plugs.
