After a year of everything being closed down because of COVID-19, city pools and aquatic centers are opening up for their first summer since 2019.

According to NewsWest 9, all Odessa city pools and aquatic centers are already opened and will be till August 1st.

Floyd Gwin Pool will be open 1-7pm all days of the week except Thursday when it will be closed. Admission is $1.50 per child ages 1-18, $3 for adults 19-64, and those under age 1 and over age 65 are free of charge.

Sherwood Family Aquatic Center will be open every day except Wednesday and on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays they will be open from 1-7pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they will be open from 1-8pm. Admission is $2.50 per child age 1-18, $4 for adults age 19-64, and children under age 1 and adults over age 65 are admitted for free. Also on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5-8pm, a family of four can purchase admission for a total of $4.50 with each additional family member at the general admission fee.

Woodson Family Aquatic Center will be open daily except for Tuesday when they will be closed. Thursdays the aquatic center will be open 1-8pm, all other days they will be open 1-7pm. Admission is $2.50 per child ages 1-18, adult admission for ages 19-64 is $4 for the day, children under age 1 and adults over age 65 can get in for free. Woodson will also offer the family of four special on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5-8pm where a family of four can get in for a total of $4.50 and each additional family member is general admission.
