I don't know of many people who drink tap water in our area but if you did in Odessa this time last year you may want to pay attention.

According to NewsWest 9, the City of Odessa did not report to the TCEQ in October 2018, January 2019, and February 2019.

That means that the city has no way of knowing if the drinking water was safe during those months.

The city is required by the state and federal governments to file a report if they operate a surface water treatment plant.

They are required to get their reports in by the 10th of each month and since they did not during the months stated they are required to notify the public within 12 months.

If you got your water from a reverse osmosis system, or have a reverse osmosis or other purification systems, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
