After Firecracker Fandango was canceled, the City of Odessa has come up with a replacement.

According to NewsWest 9, to avoid crowds watching fireworks but still doing something fun for families and still practicing social distancing, the City of Odessa will be having a two-week long scavenger hunt.

The scavenger hunt will begin next Monday, June 22, 2020 at 8am.

Citizens will be required to upload pictures at various landmarks around the city.

There will be weekly winners of prizes valued at $100, and a grand prize of $1000.

For more information on the scavenger hunt, you can go to the Downtown Odessa website.
