It's the middle of a great summer and there are many fun events happening this month in Midland!

There are many different fun activities in Midland this July!

Hey kids! Do you want to be a Firefighter for the weekend? Join the Midland Fire Department on July 11th for Kids Boot Camp. This free, action-packed event will take place at Grande Stadium (5514 Champions Drive). The camp will be full of activities that emphasize team cooperation, a healthy diet, physical fitness and fire safety. Children of all ages are welcome; however, events are focused on children ages 4-12. Participants are encouraged to wear athletic attire with tennis shoes and to bring a refillable water bottle. Every Tuesday and Thursday nights, the city hosts family night at city pools. The family nights include fun activities for both kids and adults to enjoy. Tuesday’s family nights are at Washington Aquatic Center and Thursday’s are at the newly renovated Doug Russell Aquatic Center. Family night runs from 5-7PM. The Midland Parks and Recreation Division is hosting Movie in the Park all summer long. July is loaded with several Movies, in the parks. The next one is on July 10th at Hogan Park. They’ll be showing the movie 'Maleficent'. On July 17th it will be 'Big Hero 6' at Grafa Park. July’s other movie in the park will be July 24th at CJ Kelly Park featuring 'How To Train Your Dragon 2'. For more information visit

The Midland Farmers Market is open to all visitors featuring fresh home grown produce, dairy, handcrafted treats and much more!
