She might be a Storyteller, but at the moment, Carrie Underwood just isn't sure how her next page is going to pan out.

The "Church Bells" singer, who lit up the stage with Keith Urban at the 2017 Grammy Awards last night (February 12), told People in a new interview that she's taking a break from the road. Five albums into her career, and she's feeling a little uninspired, she said.

"We just wrapped up the Storyteller Tour and I feel like my life right now, creatively, is kind of a blank space," Underwood said. "I’m really excited about that, because you don’t know where you’re going to go. I’m nervous because I want whatever I do next to be amazing, so I’m kind of taking a little break right now and being a mom and being a wife and going to see some hockey games to see my husband play."

"I’m kind of waiting for lightning to strike and go: ‘Okay, it’s time to get creative and work on new music!’" she added.

Since winning American Idol's fourth season in 2005, Underwood has won seven Grammys and has sold more than 16 million albums in the United States.
