April showers bring May flowers and also the highly anticipated debut album from "Bodak Yellow" rapper Cardi B.

Cardi, who's released two solo mixtapes and sixteen singles, snatched up the award for Best New Artist at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards Sunday night (March 11) and used the opportunity to reveal that her first full-length work is coming in April. Spring has sprung, indeed!

Cardi beat out the likes of Niall Horan, Luke Combs, Christian Nodal, Judah & the Lion, Ozuna and Khalid to take home the trophy. She also performed a mashup of "Bartier Cardi," "MotorSport," "No Limit" and "Bodak Yellow" in a collaboration with G-Eazy.

"I'm going to thank a lot of people because a lot of people helped me with my success," she said during her acceptance speech, before giving credit to her publicist her management and even her haters. “They be downloading my stuff so they can hear it and talk crap about it but it benefits me!” she said, laughing.

And fans were thrilled about the news.

"God I loved her acceptance speech. Got my cracking up laughin. You go cardi," one wrote, while another noted "Queen preached, lol. If ya hate on others you are just benefiting them lol. So either way you’re losing. Sorry."

Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Maroon 5 were some additional acts who won big at the show, which was hosted by DJ Khaled and Hailey Baldwin.
