What do you get a man who’s turning 75 years old? Maybe a nice knit cardigan or a hand-crafted wooden pipe. But if that man is Captain America, you best get him a giant bronze statue.

The superhero is celebrating his 75 anniversary this year and Marvel is debuting a 13-foot bronze statue of Steve Rogers in his iconic red, white, and blue gear. The statue, which will weigh one ton, will make its debut at San Diego Comic-Con this month before heading to Cap’s hometown of Brooklyn for its permanent spot, according to USA Today. The statue will stand in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park following a dedication ceremony on August 20.

Captain America was created in 1941 by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon and made his first appearance in the March issue of Captain America Comics #1. Marvel artists and Comicave Studios designed the statue with a pose that represents the Super Soldier’s strength and stoicism. The statue will also feature the movie quote, “I’m just a kid from Brooklyn,” which Chris Evans says in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger. Check out the sketch of the statue below:

Paul Gitter, senior vice president of licensing for Marvel at Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, told USA Today, “We hope that when fans see the statue, they will think back to a favorite comic book, treasured action figure or even be transported back to a special time and place in their lives where Captain America’s values played influence.”

ABC also celebrated the comic character's anniversary earlier this year with an hour-long special honoring the superhero in January. But TV specials and making a trip to Prospect Park aren’t the only ways fans can celebrate the iconic superhero. Comicave Studios will also sell 750 limited-edition mini bronze replica statues and 100 made-to-order pewter statues.
