Be Careful Not To Scrape The Side Of Your Vehicle On Highway 191 In Midland!
The construction on Loop 250 and Highway 191 is in full swing in Midland. And, yes, it's a mess. Exit ramps are gone. Entrance ramps are gone. Lanes have been switched and so on. Without a doubt, driving very carefully in the area is crucial now and in the months to come.
CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION BLOCKS ARE EVERYWHERE!
If you frequent the area in front of Sam's Club and H.E.B in Midland, especially the frontage road, BIG concrete blocks are lined up for many miles. Sometimes these roads can pull or sway your vehicle, and you need to be careful NOT to scrape your car on these HUGE blocks. I witnessed someone do just that the other day. Thankfully it wasn't too bad, but I'm certain the vehicle scraped a little bit of their vehicle cause they got too close to the concrete blocks.
THOSE CONCRETE BLOCKS CAN GET PRETTY CLOSE
While on the frontage road, I could definitely feel the vehicle sway or get pulled while driving. Please do take precautions and be very attentive while driving next to these huge and long concrete blocks.
THERE IS STILL A LOT TO DO IN THE MONTHS TO COME
While this project still has a ways to go and months ahead of us, please watch your speed and your SPACING, especially with the concrete blocks lined up everywhere in the area. And, of course, let's look out for each other out on the streets.
