Fried chicken a staple in most peoples diets especially here in Texas.  We all love it but certainly do not want to cook it.  Let's be real, it makes a huge mess so what do we do? We drive thru and there are so many to choose from so which is the favorite of Texans? Here is our list;

Popeyes has served southern fried chicken with an New Orleans flair for over 50 years and there are around 4000 stores globally.

If you've never tried it you will love the crunchiness of your first bite and the New Orleans flavor experience. Also the size of chicken pieces.  Whether its their chicken strips on chicken legs you won't leave hungry!

#2 Kentucky Fried Chicken

Kentucky Fried Chicken and Colonel Sanders is probably one of the most recognizable fried chicken restaurants. There are everywhere over 25,000 KFC restaurants in over 145 countries!
We have all heard the Colonel talk about his "secret blend of 11 herbs and spices" which does give the chicken great flavor and you can get it in original and extra crispy. The problem is with the original, the skin is, well it's chewy. The flavor is good but not enough of it. The chicken texture is moist and flavorable but honestly, you almost have to take the skin off to enjoy it.

#1 Chick-fil-A

Tough to choose a winner but consistently Chick-fil-A comes out on top.  The Chick-fil-A meat whether in their sandwiches or their boneless white meat chicken tenders are always seasoned to perfection and the meat is tender and juicy.
