Balloon Release in Memory of Murdered ‘Pepe’s T-Shirts’ Owner Held on Saturday

Friends, family, and community members of Odessa gathered on Saturday to have a memorial balloon release for Joe Valenzuela, the murdered owner of Pepe's T-shirts.

According to NewsWest 9, the gathering was to pay respects to the murdered business owner who had owned his business for decades in Odessa.

Friends and family said Joe was a giving man who was loved by everyone he ever came in contact with and cannot believe why anyone would want to kill him.

The murder is still under investigation.
