The fourth earthquake in a the past two weeks has hit the Permian Basin once again.

According to NewsWest 9, a 3.0 earthquake rattled Midland/Odessa once again late last night at 11:58pm just short of the 2 week anniversary of the double earthquake near Mentone on February 18, 2020 and the 3.3 magnitude earthquake near Gardendale on February 19.

The USGS says the epicenter was located 7 miles northeast of Odessa and was about 3 miles deep.

Residents in Odessa have reported feeling the quake shake houses though no damage was reported.
