Alpine ISD moves out of the classroom due to the number of COVID-19 cases within the school district.

According to NewsWest 9, remote learning will begin today (November 12, 2020) and continue till Thanksgiving break.

The district says the move is due to the number of COVID-19 cases among teachers and students in Alpine.

Students are expected to be diligent about logging into their classes at the regularly scheduled times daily.

The district will also include curbside meals at the elementary school cafeteria with breakfast served from 8:00-8:30am, and lunch from 11:30am-noon weekdays.

Alpine ISD is also encouraging students and their family along with school staff and their families to follow social distancing guidelines and personal hygiene to control the spread of the disease.
