Remember how J. Lo was like, "Oh Hell no" when that Ukrainian TV presenter tried crashing Adele's acceptance speech at the 2013 Grammys on Sunday (Feb. 10)?

Turns out he did it just because he loved Adele so much. Admit it, you can relate a little. That chick is fantastic.

The crasher, Vitalii Sediuk, revealed he got in with pals when his television credentials weren't granted, probably because he pulls this crap all the time.

“My channel didn't get credentialed, so I went with friends who had tickets,” Sediuk told The Hollywood Reporter.

“They didn't check how many we had, so I was let in. First I went to the media line and interviewed quite a few celebrities, like Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Kidman," he explained (which may explain in turn why La Lopez gave him the boot onstage).

"Then I just followed one girl in a green dress through the [Staples Center] gates. They checked my pockets but never asked to see a ticket. Only once I was inside the building did I realize, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s Katy Perry!’”

Chances are he was behind Perry.

As for his seat, he admits, “I think it belonged to Adam Levine because he was sitting on the ground."

Poor guy.

Sediuk says that his ambush on Adele wasn't premeditated, but rather a moment of passion.

"The idea to go on the stage came up at the last second," Sediuk insisted. "To be honest, Adele is my favorite singer. So when I heard her name, I came up with this idea to go up on the stage and say what I said."

Though much of it is inaudible in the video, Sediuk says, "I pretended this was an award for me, and then I said, 'Thank you, Adele. You’re my inspiration.'”

And you best believe J. Lo shook him, even though it didn't hit him right away.

"I don't remember her expression, but I remember someone pulled me," he said of Lopez's yank on his arm. "When I saw the video, I realized it was Jennifer Lopez."

Even more agitated than the ever cool, calm and collected La Lopez were security -- who were probably not only bothered by the incident, but also embarrassed that their own oversights led to it.

"People were quite angry. I felt very nervous -- this will sound funny -- and I asked for water," Sediuk said sheepishly. "And one guy was so furious, but he brought water. Then police guys took me to a room and asked a lot of questions about how I got inside."

Sediuk was booked, charged with trespassing and released Monday morning after spending the remainder of Music's Biggest Night behind bars; he's got a March court date.

"My purpose is to entertain and to show a different emotion of celebrities," Sediuk insisted. "I’m not a crazy guy. I just think differently."

If by "differently," he means "creepily," then by all means.
