3.3 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Part of the Permian Basin

Residents in Reeves County were jolted slightly on Wednesday night by an earthquake.

According to NewsWest 9, the US Geological Survey registered a 3.3 magnitude earthquake between Pecos and Ft. Stockton around 10:00 pm Wednesday night (June 15).

The quake would have been felt along US Highway 285, no reports have been made on any damages caused by the earthquake.
