2014 Microsoft Surface 2 Tablet Commercial – What’s the Song?

Microsoft has a brand new Surface 2 tablet commercial, complete with brand-new song. While the commercial itself is only a shortened version of a previous ad, the tune that accompanies it is a wholly new one.

But what is it?

The song itself is the single by Paul McCartney, titled 'New.' It definitely works in this context.

'New' is available on McCartney's album of the same name, and it made it onto TV at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

McCartney also performed the song during the evening with former bandmate Ringo Starr and took home a Grammy for Best Rock Song for 'Cut Me Some Slack,' which he wrote with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear.
