It was announced late yesterday that the Marvel 'Avenger's 2', would not have the now expected post credit scene. What could this mean for the storyline?

Joss Whedon told Entertainment Weekly he opted to forgo a scene at the very end of the credits. (Read More: No ‘Avengers 2’ Post Credits Scene, Says Joss Whedon)

I'll be disappointed, but Marvel President Kevin Feige says there is a very brief, epilogue-like scene that pops up right before the full credits start to roll (not unlike the Bucky Barnes tag after Captain America: The Winter Soldier).

So what could this mean to the story line? I think "Avengers 2' will end so dark that it (aan after credit-scene)would take away from setting up the next 'Captain America: Civil War', that they will have to leave us hanging.

So, you've been warned: Don't hang around expecting an after-credit scene because Whedon assures us that they’re being honest.

There is nothing at the very end. And that’s not a fake-out. We want people to know so they don’t sit there for 10 minutes and then go: ‘Son of a bitch! I’ll kill them!’

Are you excited about the upcoming 'Avengers 2: Age of Ultron'?
